Investigation – We
analyze the policy provisions and stipulations as they relate to your loss to
determine the coverage, limits, exclusions, and other forms that may apply. In
investigating and planning the claim presentation, the Public Insurance Adjuster
must have an understanding of all factors that influence the standard insurance
forms, which may be contradictory to the current practices and procedures of
insurance adjusting in your area.
Documentation of the Claim – You,
the Policy Holder, are required under the insurance policy to conform to
"Your Duties after a Loss" provision of the policy. Our services
relieve you from being involved in this time consuming detailed process in
order to meet the insurance company requirements. Our professional team will present
your claim using the policy language that applies to your particular case. This
in-depth process includes:
-
Detailed construction estimates supporting engineering documents if neccessary for property damage;
-
Detailed and verified inventory and contents schedule with correct evaluation and supporting documentation for content loss;
-
The required technical and supporting documentation for the claim adjustment process
Presentation of the Claim - After
the full extent of the loss has been determined and documented, the claim is reviewed
thoroughly with the client and, with final approval, the claim is submitted to
the insurance carrier for negotiation.
Negotiation and Settlement – Once
the insurance company representative receives a well-defined position that is
professionally documented, our adjusters gain their respect. Along with our expertise and
qualifications, this contributes to the successful conclusion of your claim. No
claim is settled without prior approval from the client who will be kept
abreast of all negotiations throughout the entire process.
